"I don't wanna become a vampire, I really don't want to. Maybe he won't even kill me, and I will become one for nothing. Can't we think of something else? We should figure out a way to break whatever is blocking our magic." zei Alexis. Ze keek hem angstig aan toen hij zei dat hij hem zou verblinden. "Wait no, I don't wanna be blind, we have to try to stop him. I can try to fight him since the vervain doesn't works on me, but I think he'll see that comming." zei ze tewijl ze hem aankeek.

Nadat hij blind gemaakt is voelde hij dat hij losgemaakt werd en ergens naartoe gebracht werd. Aan de geluiden te horen terug naar de cel. Toen hij voelde dat hij zat luisterde hij goed. "Suzy, Suzy are you there?" vroeg hij toen sinds hij niks kan zien. "Please tell me your still alive"  vervolgde hij direct. Hij hoorde cellen weer open gaan, zijn gehoor was nu wel beter aangezien hij niks kan zien. Waarschijnlijk was het de beurt aan Alexis en Kai.

Kai keek haar aan. ''I'm not letting you die today.'' fluisterde hij en streelde langs haar hand heen. Zijn ogen sloot hij. ''Even if that means making you like me. I don't wanna loose you. I'm not losing you.'' fluisterde hij en keek haar weer aan. ''But only if you want it too. I'm not gonna make you like me if you don't want it.''  knikte hij en keek op bij het horen van een hoge lach. Hij begon te luisteren naar de stem van James en slikte even kort. ''Let's just say he will practicaly blind you later on.'' zei hij en keek haar aan.

Suzy luisterde naar James en probeerde zichzelf stil te houden. ''When I'm free James, when I escape and I will because my uncle did and Stefan's brother did. It's not impossible. We will escape from this living hell were we breath the oxygen from. And you will be the one having an iron bar inside your body beside you heart and two knives in your eyes. You will be an human excisting out of blades.'' siste ze en ze zag een mes vlak bij haar gezicht. Ze bewoog simpelweg met haar hoofd dat niet vast zat. Ze voelde het scherpe mes langs haar hele wang heen gaan en met slikte ze en sloot haar ogen. ''You'll die.''

"He kinda explained, but I think there's more to the story. It doesn't really matter, being in a cell is already not right, so we have to escape" knikte ze. "But Stefan was right though, you guys heal, I don't. I don't even know how I'm going to survive this. I either die and become a vampire, or I'll  just die and don't come back." zuchtte ze. "If Stefan just told me people with Augustien as last name, are bad, we wouldn't be here right now. James probably waited for this since we came in the same class, 2 years ago when I started with this study. He just used me to get information about all of us, and I was so stupid to believe him" zei Alexis.

"This is just the beginning. I just want you guys to get used to the pain. Because this isn't even an experiment. I haven't even taken a peak inside yet, so be glad I haven't ripped an organ like your eyes out, to see how long it takes to grow back" zei James. " I think it would be vacenating too, to see how your blood works on humans. It amazing that your blood can heal anything. So if I stapped your pitty girlfriend, Alexis in the eyes, and give her her boyfriends blood, would she still be blind or not?" hoorde hij James zeggen. "I don't care, I'll see. I'll do it anyways"  zei James. "And this is the last thing you guys have to deal with"  hoorde hij James nog zeggen voordat het zwart voor zijn ogen werd. Hij was niet flauw gevallen, maar er werd een mes in beiden zijn ogen gestoken. Dat zou nog wel even duren voor dat ze zouden helen.

Kai keek haar aan en schudde zijn hoofd. ''No, I don't think you are evil. I think it's the magic in your blood that tries making you evil. Though I have no idea if that really is the thing.'' knikte hij maar wende zijn blik kort af op de deur waar Stefan en Suzy in verdwenen waren. ''By the sounds I can hear, it is pretty painful down there.'' fluisterde hij en keek Alexis aan. ''I have no idea what this place is, and why we are here but when you get the change to find out you should ask Stefan, or Damon or whoever who knows.'' zei hij. 

Suzy wou haar handen rond het ijzeren voorwerp doen maar het ging niet. De touwen waren veelste strak en gevuld met vervain. ''Seriously, if you wanna kill us then just do it. There is no fucking reason for you to put a iron bar litteraly next to my heart. It won't kill me tho, so maybe you should use wood instead. Much more painfull for us if you haven't noticed yet.'' mompelde Suzy en probeerde de pijn te stoppen in woede.

"Well I won't use magic ever again. You can channel it from me, but you do the work" zei Alexis. "Kai, honestly, am I a bad person?" Vroeg ze. "Please awnser honestly"  vervolgde ze en keek hem aan. Nu ze weer al haar emoties voelde, voelde ze zich zeer schuldig over het feit dat Stefan en Suzy nu pijn hebben door haar.


"I agree"  voegde Stefan droog  doe aan Suzy, terwijl zijn lichaam al weer bijna geheeld was. Hij trok aan zijn armen, maar hij kreeg het echt niet los. "What do you even want man"  zuchtte Stefan. Niet veel later voelde  hij weer iets zijn torso doorboren. "Don't you guys worry, you guys are almost done for today. We'll build it up slowly. Now  it's  going to be  an hour of pain, tomorrow maybe to, and so on" lachde. "Kai and Alexis will be directly afther you two" hoorde hij James zeggen.

Kai staarde haar aan toen ze zichzelf begon te verdedigen. Hij liet het maar gewoon gaan want hierover vechten of discusseren had op dit moment helemaal geen nut. ''You don't randomly turn bad. You have always been it or you will never be it. It's pretty easy to explain.'' fluisterde Kai. ''And we won't use it unless we really really have to. Besides we haven't even used it properly.'' knikte hij en streelde langs haar hand heen.
 

Suzy had haar ogen gesloten om de pijn de verdelven en uiteindelijk voelde ze hoe hij weer haar lichaam uit ging. Ze kon weer ademen en met dat keek ze op naar James. ''The next thing you can do is put that wooden stake right through your own body. If you untie me I will help you with pleasure.'' snauwde Suzy en beweeg haar armen maar er kwam geen beweging in. Tenminste niet in de touwen rond haar polsen. ''Shush shush sweat pie. I ain't done yet.'' lachte hij en met dat voelde ze geen hout in haar buikholte maar een ijzeren staak vlak bij haar hart en met dat slaakte ze een korte zucht van de pijn. Niet een gil maar een zucht.

"I'm not addicted, the doctor said himself that I should take hem. They are not bad for me, otherwise they wouldn't prescribed." Verdedigde Alexis zich. "I know, I tried but something is blocking it. And I don't  want to get mad or use our magic because I can't  stop myself, I turn into this bad person. Latley if been a bad person and I don't  know why. It just happens eventhough I don't want to happen"  zuchtte ze.


"It's vacenating to see how you guys turn grey when you get stabbed with wood"  hoorde hij James zeggen. Het was alsof Stefan zijn keek dicht geknepen werd, en hij kon zijn aderen voelen verstenen. James trok  net optijd de spaak terug, en Stefan hapte toen naar adem. "So what should I do next?"  Hoorde  Stefan  hem lachen.

Kai bleef haar aankiken voor zover hij kon en slikte kort. ''No Alexis, you don't need them.  That's why they call it drugs. You keep taking and taking them until you can't live without it anymore. Addicted, but you probably knew that already. You don't need them. You're stronger then that.'' fluisterde hij en kneep kort in haar handen. ''And I know we need to escape. I just can't use my magic in here.'' fluisterde hij.

Suzy gromde, en het was niet een normale grom maar echt grom die en hond zou kunnen maken wanneer die op zijn baasje zou passen. Bloed rook Suzy vrijwel meteen en niet veel later voelde ze ook hoe bij haar er een houten stok doorheen haar lichaam en ingewanden heen ging. Ze beet op haar lip wegens de pijn maar die ging niet verdwijnen, het zou er blijven totdat die houten stok uit haar lichaam zou zijn gehaald. ''It's nice to see reactions between people. Comparring how much pain it will be doing to the one and the other.'' mompelde James.

"I can't, I can't  do this. I need one" zei ze ze. Het was echt zo erg om weer iets slechts mee te maken, het was gewoon te veel voor haar. Waarom moest dan ook alles opeens tegelijk. Eerst was alles goed, en nu dit. "We have to escape, what they said was true, I'll either become a vampire  or I'll die" zei ze.


Stefan keek naar James. "I swear, if I'll break loose, I'll freaking rip your head of"  gromde Stefan. "But the point is Stefan, you are not going to get out of here soon"  zei James. Op dat moment voelde hij een houte stok door zijn buik gaan.

Kai keek op bij het voelen van haar hand. Van Alexis haar hand. Hij bekeek haar ogen hoe ze vluchtig bewogen. Hoe ze naar hulp zochten bij haar woorden. ''Alright.'' fluisterde hij en pakte haar handen vast aangezien zij ze weel doorheen het hek konden doen. ''Just listen to me, focus on my voice.'' fluisterde hij en streelde met zijn duimen langs haar hand heen. ''You will be fine, you can control your emotions. Just think about something that makes you calm, and not angry or whatsoever. Just try to be calm.'' knikte hij.

Suzy haar lichaam was misschien verlamd maar ze voelde elk stootje tegen haar lichaam aan. Hoe ze verder niks kon doen dan alleen praten en voelen. Hetzelfde als Stefan werd ze vastgebonden op een tafel en met dat slikte ze. ''Don't worry Stefan, it's not your fault.'' zei ze en keek kort opzij maar met een harde zet werd haar hoofd terug geduwd zodat ze weer vooruit keek. ''No need to watch eachother when you're going to feel the exact same pain. It can just feel a little bit more painful by the other..'' hoorde ze James zeggen.
